DANIEL PATTERSON with MANDY AFTEL at COI
On the heels of their newly released book, The Art of Flavor, Michelin two-star chef, Daniel Patterson, and celebrated natural perfumer, Mandy Aftel, pair up at modern seafood-centric COI for an innovative seven-course meal with wine pairings bringing each dish to life. In collaboration with COI's Chef Matt Kirkley, Daniel and Mandy will share their set of revolutionary principles and tools to create flavor and fine-tune a dish, and each guest will receive a copy of their new book. With more than 75 recipes that put each concept into practice, Patterson and Aftel share the secrets to creating delicious food that will help cooks at any level.
GABRIELA CÁMARA with RAFAEL GOMES (GRANDCŒUR, PARIS) and JUAN ARBELAEZ (NUBÉ, PARIS) at CALA
Modern Mexican meets classic French cuisine at this festive one-night-only event at Cala. Chef Gabriela Cámara of Contramar fame is joined by visiting chefs, Juan Arbalaez – former Top Chef Paris contestant and Nubé executive chef – and Rafael Gomes, executive chef of Paris' celebrated Grand Cœur. With a focus on sustainability and local sourcing while melding their Mexican-Parisian-Colombian-Brazilian influences, these three chefs appear at Cala for a fresh, seafood-centric experience multi-course tasting menu with optional wine pairing.
EVAN RICH with MATT ABERGEL (BIRDYARD, HONG KONG) at RICH TABLE
Locally sourced, innovative Northern California cuisine is combined with East meets West influences when Chefs Evan Rich and Matt Abergel pair up for this exclusive evening. Bringing game-influenced sensibilities from Hong Kong, and following a successful pop-up stint in New York City, Chef Abergel's take on the modern izakaya, combined with Chef Rich's love for seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine, will create an evening not to be missed.
